I’ve been snapping pictures for as long as I can remember. From the time my dad handed me a Kodak Pony 135 at the 1964-65 New York World’s Fair, I’ve had a passion for capturing the moment. Since then, it seems I've always had a camera in hand, snapping pictures of friends, landmarks, unusual events and anything else I found interesting or different.
Most of my adult career has been in graphic design, working in the newspaper business. The newspapers I’ve worked for, include the Dothan [Alabama] Eagle, the Huntsville [Alabama] Times, the Colorado Springs Gazette and the Denver Post. It’s been a rewarding career collaborating with photographers and editorial folk, creating all kinds of story-telling presentations for news and human interest stories.
Today, I find myself living at my childhood vacation home on mystical Lake Eufaula, Alabama (aka: Walter F. George Lake, Georgia). Most mornings, one can find me on the shores of the lake shooting sunrise pictures and later sharing my daily musings on my Facebook page. Additionally, on weekdays you can find me working in my newly established photoshop located in Cotton&Kudzu in Historic Eufaula, Alabama.
